While enduring through the daily harassment, AJ accidentally discovers his bosses program of liquor theft. He also uncovers accounting fraud and embezzlement. With better understanding of how the scheme is being perpetrated and is no longer able to tolerate his mistreatment, he decides to inform the hotel leadership of his findings, only to have the tables have been turned on him.

Throughout this pulp-noir style series, AJ is an atypical everyman. He eccentrically works his way through PTSD, improving his employment status, navigating the dating world, building friendships, animal rescue, vigilante recovery of lost treasures and the development of his investigation skills.
