The Adventures of Jason and the New Argonauts (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9780615506036)

I grew up in a small town in central Illinois, the youngest of 5 kids in an Irish-Catholic family. I first came up with the concept for this novel in high school Latin class. I've always been a fan of mythology and of comic books and I was intrigued by the idea of writing and illustrating a graphic novel about the classical Greek myths, whose characters are considered by many to be the first "super-heroes." My initial concept was to gather a group of heroes, each of whom represented a sign of the zodiac. All the characters in my novel actually exist in the myths, though I had to do some embellishing on some of them to make them fit into my grand scheme, as you will see when you read my book.
