"The Adventures of Jedediah," originally written in Spanish, was inspired by a baby mule she met at a local stable. The first time she "bumped into" Jedediah, he was standing quietly outside his corral, waiting for someone to notice and play with him. Alita found out that Jedediah had been born unexpectedly in the midst of a busy stable. What a lot of playful chaos he created! Alita came to love this mischievous mule and wanted to share his story.

Alita hopes that Jedediah's heart-warming and courageous tale will show that being different isn't really such a bad thing. In fact it can make you very, very special!

Alita Buzel vive en Manhattan e East Hampton con su esposo y sus dos gatos, Fanny y Walter. Cuando no está escribiendo o montado a caballo, está trabajando como una psicóloga en su consulta en Manhattan.

Alita ha escrito "Las Adventuras de Jedediah el Mulo" originalmente en Español. La fuente de inspiración para el libro fue un mulito que conoció en un establo cerca de su casa en East Hampton. Ella see encontró al mulito por primer vez cuando el estaba suelto fuera de su corral. ¡El acababa de abrir la verja para salir y buscar a alguien con quien juga!

Alita se quedó impresionada con este mulito tan energético y quiso compartir su historia escribiendo este cuente. Alita espera que muchos niños se inspiren al leer este cuento de un niño muy diferente al resto que termina ganando el corazón de todos.
