Writing a children's book was a dream come true for Dr. Escalante. She is inspired and dedicated to take the lessons learned from Mimi, her English bulldog to a global platform. Mimi is Dr. Escalante's first dog. She believes that Mimi brought out the best in her and made her into a more patient, more loving, more empathetic, and more joyous person.
