About the authors: Deb Patterson and Cole Patterson are a mother/son team who got the idea for The Adventures of Ninja Kid one spring morning in 2015 during an inspired and animated talk about defeating ninjas in the kitchen with a chewed up bagel! With much laughter and little planning, they spent that summer while Cole was between 5th and 6th grades creating the book. Deb spends her time as an interior designer, event coordinator, and mom, while Cole's interests range from soccer to acting to video games...and, of course, snickerdoodle cookies! They live in Colorado with Deb's hubby aka Cole's dad, a big brother, and 2 crazy dogs. About the illustrator: Katie Heady is an art student from Columbia, Maryland. Katie loves owls, deer, corgis, and cats. Katie is majoring in Computer Animation at Ringling College of Art and Design. She hopes to gain super powers in the future.
