My Name is Kessa Grant, I'm from a little island in the Caribbean and have always loved literature since I was able to pick up a book and understand the words written in black ink on white paper. I've always loved creating my own world with my own characters. the best part about being an author for me is creating characters I think others could relate too. I've been writing at a very young age and my literature teachers are the ones that helped me to understand how to get into the minds of my characters and any characters written by any author. literature has been the biggest part of my life; it helped me to be able to speak and communicate with others as an introverted person. I love all forms of literature and outside of the literary world, I'm also a visual artiste. Art is something that also helps me to express myself and gain self-confidence. I've mostly won art awards because I've never had the confidence to put my literary work out there, this is my first attempt. my favourite pass-time is watching anime or movies with my significant other and in my alone time, I like to read books from my favourite authors, Lauren Dane, Suzanne Wright, C.S. Lewis. J.K. Rowling and the list goes on. my only pick-me-up is listening to supernatural romance audiobooks, it's a great way for me to close my eyes and imagine everything I hear, which sometimes leads to boisterous outbursts. I enjoy what I do as an author and my only goal is to reach out to everyone, help someone enjoy the literary world as much as I do and get better in my writing. we write because we love to read
