The world of Naesala four hundred years in the past isn't much different than what we already know. The regions of the world have already been chosen and are thriving on their own. Clashes have happened in the past, however the current nations of Naesala are on the path of peace. Thus, the leaders of the world started sending their heirs to Terranea University for building political alliances.

Once I am of age and have mastered my syren's song, my father sends me to Terranea with a secret mission: to find and meet Marius Kelridge. I have to try to secure an alliance with him through a relationship in order to strengthen our kingdom. I just don't realize what a challenge this will be when angst and heartache are thrown my way. Marius is surrounded by venomous people, and he himself is arrogant and vile.

What I don't expect is meeting Felix, and then Irik. These two men stir something inside of me that I don't understand. I'm unable to stay away from both of these men despite her mission. My duty weighs on my heart, but these men lift the burden.

While this is a prequel, it fits into an existing series after book one. These characters are totally independent, however you might miss some explanation about the world of Naesala that would have been previously explained. This will be an MMF story, where all of the main characters will enter into a relationship with each other.
