The Antarctic Equation (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781967866656)

A collapsing ice shelf. A failing treaty. A global power struggle hidden beneath the ice.

The Antarctic Equation is a tense, deeply realistic climate-fiction thriller where geopolitics, environmental science, and human survival collide at the edge of the world.

When investigator Hans Adler arrives at McMurdo Station, he discovers that Antarctica-once protected by international cooperation-is rapidly becoming the world's most coveted battleground. As ice sheets fracture and sea levels rise, powerful nations quietly race to claim the continent's vast freshwater reserves, mineral-rich bedrock, and strategic dominance, all while operating under the cover of scientific research.

Working alongside climate scientist Dr. Elena Volkov, Hans begins to uncover a disturbing pattern. Governments are reinterpreting the Antarctic Treaty, exploiting legal loopholes, and conducting covert resource operations. The emerging model-what Hans calls the Antarctic Equation-reveals a dangerous truth: cooperation is weakening, defection is profitable, and the global system designed to protect Antarctica is beginning to fracture.

Traveling between Chinese, Russian, Norwegian, British, Japanese, and Chilean research stations, Hans exposes hidden agendas that push the fragile balance toward geopolitical conflict.

As tensions rise, he faces a defining choice: continue documenting institutional failure-or risk everything to help spark change before Antarctica becomes the next victim of resource-driven collapse.

A gripping eco-thriller about climate politics, global power struggles, and humanity's final frontier: Antarctica.
