British Asian broadcaster Raksha Dave has been presenting history and archeology documentaries to international audiences for over 20 years. Her credits include Time Team, Digging for Britain, Digging up Britain's Past, and The Great Plague, to name just a few. In 2023 her debut book Lessons from Our Ancestors was published and later won the 2024 British Book Award 's Discover Book of the Year. She has recently been appointed as president of the Council for British Archeology. French Uruguayan Nat Cardozo graduated as higher technician in plastic arts and design in illustration at the Escola J. Serra i Abella in Barcelona in 2009. She has participated in exhibitions in Uruguay, Mexico, Spain, and Argentina, and has worked with several publishers in picture books and all kinds of publications, some of them of her own authorship. Inspired by nature and world cultures, she enjoys exploring various traditional techniques such as acrylics, colored pencils, ink, and watercolor, usually combining them with each other. Pyrography and embroidery are also included among her favorite techniques.
