Chris McDonnell has served as author and designer for Adventure Time: The Art of Ooo; Steven Universe: Art & Origins; BoJack Horseman: The Art Before the Horse; The Art of Invader Zim; and Steven Universe: End of an Era. McDonnell also designed books on Ralph Bakshi, Bill Plympton, Wonder Woman, and more. He lives in Philadelphia.

Jorge R. Gutierrez, born in Mexico City and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, is an animator, voice actor, painter, writer, and director who has completed various films, cartoons, illustrations, and paintings exploring his love affair with Mexican pop and folk culture. Along with his wife and muse, Sandra Equihua, he created the multiple Annie and Emmy Award-winning animated television series El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera for Nickelodeon. Gutierrez cowrote and directed the animated film The Book of Life and created, cowrote, and directed the limited series Maya and the Three.

Sandra Equihua, born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, is an illustrator, voice actor, producer, and character designer, who melds the influences of midcentury design and her Mexican heritage. She has designed characters for El Macho, ¡Mucha Lucha!, The Buzz on Maggie, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, and Maya and the Three, and created the award-winning Nickelodeon series El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera with her husband, Jorge R. Gutierrez, for which she was the first Latina artist to win an Annie and Emmy Award for her character designs. She also won an Annie for her character designs for The Book of Life.

Chris McDonnell es es el autor y diseñador de Adventure Time: The Art of Ooo (Hora de aventura: el arte de Ooo); Steven Universe: Art & Origins (Steven Universe: arte y orígenes); BoJack Horseman: The Art Before the Horse (BoJack Horseman: El arte antes del caballo); The Art of Invader Zim (El arte de Invasor Zim) y Steven Universe: End of an Era (Stephen Universe el final de una era). Sandra Equihua, nacida y criada en Tijuana, México, es ilustradora, actriz de doblaje, productora y diseñadora de personajes. Combina influencias del dibujo de mediados de siglo, con su herencia mexicana. Ha diseñado personajes para El Macho, ¡Mucha Lucha!, La mosca Maggie, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! y Maya y los tres. Es la creadora de la multipremiada serie de Nickelodeon El Tigre: Las aventuras de Manny Rivera, junto a su marido Jorge R. Gutiérrez, por la que fue la primera artista mexicana en ganar un premio Annie y un Emmy por su diseño de personajes. También obtuvo un Annie por su diseño de personajes en El libro de la vida.
