On the following pages you'll find the product of at least a decade of writing projects that I started and completed while at work. Unfortunately, I didn't have a novel inside me screaming to be written at the time, but I was able to crank out some short pieces I found fun to write. 'Was it hard to do'?, you ask? As much as you might think I had goof off like this clandestinely; hiding what I was doing, making excuses for writing something totally unrelated to the industry, but no. I found looking just busy enough at all times was not only easy but it kept the boss happy when he or she walked by.
