United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School; Received Certification in ISO 9000 Internal Assessor Training; American Red Cross trained in Shelter Operations and Mass Care; Certified by the State of Louisiana to instruct Alcohol Awareness Training; Completed the Close-Up Washington DC & USET Civics Program; and recipient of the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Award. Lonnie worked in the Casino and Hospitality Industry for 18 years, serving as the Vice President of Organizational & Executive Development, Director of Associate Services, Manager of Planning & Analysis, and Financial-Labor Analyst at Paragon Casino Resort. He also worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer for the Fortune 500 Company Rockwell Automation.
