When I opened the shop door to put the truck inside ... there was a lot of banging going-on water pipes had froze-up. The older buildings were not insulated, for this was a rare occurrence. I thought I would head home for the day. I had a load of sand in the box of the '49 and chains on the tires. I safely got home. I must say my '53 Chev didn't survive too we that winter. The building where I had it stored, collapsed, crushing my car! I sold the motor, as that was all that was worth anything."
