The Battered Covenant (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798896016540)

Whether by choice or design, our lives are, or will eventually become, a battle between right and wrong. At some point, circumstance will force you to choose a side. This novel is a gut-wrenching tale of one individual's struggle to find and maintain love in all its forms amidst the chaos and collapse of traditional American values. Follow William (Billy) Jack Dawson as he watches his world disintegrate over and over again, while he attempts, against impossible odds, to right all the wrongs of his past. After losing the loves of his life to a cruel tragedy, Jack secretly embarks upon a mission to expose the scope and magnitude of the evil forces that conspired to take the lives of his beloved Shellie and her daughter Katie. Eager to trade his own life for the truth, Jack struggles to realize that he is not alone in his efforts. Never knowing who is helping or who is attempting to thwart him, Jack pushes forward with reckless abandon and slowly bears witness to the destruction of his own soul. Eventually, the weight of the world proves too much. Jack surrenders and retreats into obscurity and begins a new search, not knowing what he's searching for, but what he finds is the only thing that really matters: salvation.
