The Bish: My Life and Turbulent Times (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781912631605)

Dai Bishop's turbulent career reveals a gifted rugby genius wrestling with demons and regrets.

Sports network ESPN has called Welsh rugby star Dai Bishop one of the most naturally talented players of his generation. He is the original 'one-cap wonder' bad boy: a Jekyll and Hyde character, full of contradictions. The glory years at Pontypool RFC saw him rise to fame as a genius on the field, becoming the son coach Ray Prosser never had, but there was also the Jarman incident - an off-the-ball punch which saw him receive a two-season ban - industrial drug use, a troubled marriage and bouts of crippling depression after retirement from rugby. This unputdownable book is a chance for him to tell all, frankly discussing his demons and his regrets, and making his apologies.
