The Black Dahalia, A Jake Slater Mystery (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798259100329)

Jake Slater is a private detective. The year is 1947. World War II is finally over. It was time to rebuild. Hollywood was moving from silent movies to voice. Young women with stars in their eyes and dreams of being the next Hollywood leading lady were making their way to the glitter city.
Among those women was young woman by the name of Elizabeth Short. Naïve, young, stunning and sexy. So much so that she gained the attention of Jake Slater. It was a one-night stand, then she was gone.
Then she was dead. She was known as the Black Dahlia.
Jake is on a mission to find her killer. Will her ghost consume him? No one deserved to die like she did. No one deserved to be mutilated like she was. Will her case ever be solved or would it remain among those files that never see the light of day after a period of time?
The Black Dahlia, A Jake Slater Mystery is based on a true crime.
