Prior to that she began her career in conflict resolution at The Carter Presidential Center of Emory University where she provided research on the ongoing conflicts in Mozambique and Angola. Ahead of her time, she was first trained as a mediator in 1991 at one of the first court-based mediation centers in the country. An expert in making people the top competitive advantage for any organization, she has collaborated with colleagues at Fortune 500 companies, as well as public and nonprofit organizations. Julia is an accomplished speaker engaging audiences internationally on the topic of people strategy. Julia received a B.A. in International Relations from Emory University and is fluent in both French and Spanish. She received her Master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. Previously, she worked in Equity Research at Morgan Stanley. Julia serves on a few boards including Capital Analytics and is involved in Wharton's Future of Advertising program.
