The Brazen Altar (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781971212029)

An Erotic Adventure in the Far Future

Discover the far-future utopia of the City, a world without war, scarcity, disease, or want. Distant but benevolent AIs watch over the city, worshipped as gods who provide for their human subjects' every need.

In The Brazen Altar, three very different women choose to sacrifice themselves to their gods, becoming avatars in the process, the ultimate expression of dedication and service to their deities and their people. Kheema spends eighteen months in training, competing to be sacrificed atop the temple dedicated to the Fiery One, the AI god of knowledge; Terlyn chooses to spend the seasons bound by vines as sacrifice to the Quickener; and Ashi offers herself to the Wild in a frenzy of carnal desire.

But what is sacrifice in a city where consent rules, where time and energy are gifts more valuable than any material bauble, and where even the gods know no jealousy?

In a culture where sex, pleasure and service are the highest good, and every Temple has its own rituals of carnal connection, the three of them surrender their willing bodies to the unbearable ecstasy and ego-shattering bliss of divine service.

"The Brazen Altar is groundbreaking in the world of erotic romance. Brave and bold, this book takes no prisoners, demands our attention, and opens up an entirely new playground for fantasy and ecstasy."
