Can a discovery unearthed outside the building under the street give them the answer? 'Etched in time' takes place in the year 2018, just as the Cannon is about to reopen its doors. A loner called Ray Ray Loftus; a former Professor at the local university who now works a technical crew for the Cannon, discovers a way to complete his former research. The research that had him fired in the first place. After several years he has now left the confines of his home and has made new friends, dare he risk loosing all again for a flight of fancy? But what secrets do the Cannon hold?
