The canon is contrapuntal compositional technique, which sounds more complicated than it really is. When you go through known canons, you will find it easy. Somebody starts singing, other joins later and sings the same melody. Altogether It sounds beautiful. I arranged ten world songs and two classical compositions for DADGAD guitar tuning.
