Hello everyone, My name is Pauline A. Harris (just Pauline to you. About me: I emigrated from England to Australia in 1973. Eventually I went to Flinders University in South Australia for five wonderful years, graduating in English, French and Drama and adding Old English, Medieval French and Latin in my Honors year. I was in heaven! Then I completed a Diploma of Education and taught in High Schools in South Australia for many years. The Legends of Chyron Series is aimed at young adults from teenagers up to the young at heart, and is based on fantasy, romance and adventure. Why young adults upwards? It is because I enjoyed teaching them. Like most of us, they look for that special relationship, adventure and friendship to add to their own interests and to further activate their lives. In the words of Lord Bellingham from The Castle on the Cliff, the third book in this series, 'How love does surprise us all and give us reason to live.' I published monologues in Australia, and then plays with Reed Books (now Pearson Australia Group) and short stories and articles earlier in my life in England to help to keep the wolf from the door. Then I realised that the small book I wrote when I was younger was still relevant and important to me, so I dragged it out and extended it, and that is how the Merins of Chyron Series was initiated. It is true... it is never too late! It is great to communicate with others who can't keep away from the written word. I hope that this profile has been of interest to some of you.
