Twenty years ago, when Noemi's children, Justin and Brooke, were very young, she invented the character of the Chanukah Fairy for them. Noemi wanted to create a character for them to believe in and to perpetuate their pride in their culture as well as in themselves. It is her hope to do the same for all children around the world. To date, Noemi's greatest joy was becoming a mother 27 years ago, then a teacher, an author, a wife, and now a business woman. Having had the privilege of "wearing several hats" in her life and looking forward to wearing a few more, Noemi is a great believer in "paying it forward". Noemi has worked as an elementary school teacher in a community where there are many socio-economic issues for the past 15 years, believing that regardless of where you come from, it should not determine where you are going.
