Jerry Walling has dedicated a large part of his "free time" coaching youth sports. Jerry has 2 daughters and a son and they're all sports junkies. Even before he had children, Jerry coached sports. While in college, he coached intramural basketball, flag football, softball, and volleyball. Once he started his career, he quickly found himself as a player/coach for his company's industrial league softball team. Once his oldest daughter was old enough and wanted to play, he starting coaching youth sports. Almost a decade later, Jerry has had the privilege of coaching over 30 different teams, over 520 games, and roughly 200 young male and female athletes in softball, basketball, and baseball. Jerry Walling is a result-oriented sales and marketing profession in the Industrial Automation Industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate and Organization Communication from Western Kentucky University. The completion of roughly 20 post degree independent coursework programs confirms his strong commitment to continued education. Jerry always makes it a point to pour more into the kids than just teaching them the fundamentals of the respected sport. He is a firm believer that youth sports are an effective conduit for teaching life lessons. Jerry knows that statistically, only a couple of the young athletes that he's had the honor of coaching will play sports at the collegiate level. However, he keeps in the front of his mind that they all will be employees, bosses, volunteers, etc. Jerry lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee, with his wife, Leigh, daughters, Karsyn and Kassidy and son, Korben. Jerry also teaches Sunday School at Thompson Station Church.
