Manly P. Hall was born on March 18, 1901 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada as Manly Palmer Hall. He is known for his work on When Were You Born (1938), Nostradamus IV (1944) and American Experience (1987). He was married to Marie Bauer and Fay Bernice Lee. He died on August 29, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, USA. A noted scholar in the fields of mysticism, alternative religions and the occult. He is best known for his 1928 book, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy."
