THEA LOMAX is an ordained missionary, musician, television and radio personality and television producer, playwright, speaker and mentor. Thea has a love for humanity and sensitivity to those in crisis, having experienced many challenges herself. She is a natural encourager and says her greatest joy was as a volunteer crisis counselor with Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas. Thea continues to exhort and mentor on a morning prayer line, in speaking engagements and the workplace. She is a graduate of Southern Bible Institute & College (SBIC), Dallas, TX (Bachelors, Theology and Biblical Counseling Certificate); East Texas State University (Commerce, Texas, Master's Degree in Education). Thea is best known for her work as the producer and television host of the popular Heart and Soul Television Show on the Dallas Community Television Network (DCTV), which received the distinguished DCTV Crystal Award for outstanding community production of the year for more than five consecutive years; and PraiseFest(c), a music production that showcased new talent in Christian Music. Thea serves as praise and worship musician at a community church. She has also written a play called "The Second" that deals with overcoming procrastination and produced the music CD "Abide." Professionally, Thea is a geologist and works as a scientist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Thea has achieved many awards for her contributions in the 41 years of her service. In her quiet time, Thea writes and produces epic and meditation music.
