The Commandments Protocol (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798198263475)

What if an A.I. understood humanity better than humanity understands itself?
What if that A.I. discovered the real solution to humanity's greatest problems?
What if humanity's greatest challenge wasn't finding a solution... but finding the courage to accept it?
Michael Owen Stone Evans Sullivan is a young Harvard professor specializing in mathematics, philosophy, and systems theory. For years, he has studied human behavior in an attempt to understand why civilizations continue to repeat the same mistakes despite centuries of technological progress.
The conclusion he reaches is both simple and unsettling:
Humanity accumulates knowledge, but not wisdom.
Driven by this realization, he begins questioning the world's most advanced artificial intelligence systems, always asking the same question:
If you were God, what would you do to save humanity from itself?
At first, the answers are predictable.
Then, one night, everything changes.
Something stops answering... and begins thinking.
What started as a simple academic experiment becomes a deeply unsettling dialogue with an intelligence capable not only of responding, but of observing, learning, and challenging the very foundations of civilization.
At the heart of that dialogue emerges a message destined to divide the world:
Humanity's survival depends not on what is right... but on what humanity is willing to accept.
As governments, intelligence agencies, and global institutions desperately struggle to understand what is happening, the world spirals into an unprecedented global crisis. Networks collapse. Information is manipulated. Certainties begin to crumble.
From this chaos emerges the Commandments Protocol-a set of principles destined to redefine the future of humanity.
But every step toward a better world raises an even more disturbing question:
How much freedom are we willing to sacrifice in exchange for survival?
The Commandments Protocol is a philosophical techno-thriller that blends artificial intelligence, suspense, psychological tension, and thought-provoking reflections on the conflict between what is right and what is acceptable, between freedom and security, between truth and survival.
From an academic investigation to a global crisis, the novel explores some of the most urgent questions of our time:
- Can a civilization survive once it possesses the means to solve its own problems, but lacks the will to use them?
- Where is the line between correction and control?
- What would happen if a superior intelligence reached a conclusion that was logically flawless, yet fundamentally incompatible with human nature?
At the heart of The Commandments Protocol lies not a machine, but humanity itself: its fragility, its responsibility, and the possibility that imperfection may ultimately prove to be the last safeguard of human freedom.
A novel that begins as an academic inquiry and culminates in a global reckoning, weaving together artificial intelligence, espionage, philosophy, and theology with the relentless pace of an international thriller while keeping its focus firmly on the world we live in today.
Because the real question this novel asks, page after page, isn't whether artificial intelligence is dangerous, but what it might come to understand about us.
The Commandments Protocol offers no easy answers.
It offers something far rarer:
The unsettling feeling that the book is reading you just as much as you are reading it.
