Myra Salzer's background is as unconventional as her line of work. Before entering the financial services industry, Myra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering at Case Western Reserve University and worked for major corporations in that field. In 1983, she transitioned away from engineering and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional. She is founder and president of The Wealth Conservancy, Inc. in Boulder, Colorado where she and her colleagues provide wealth-coaching and financial-planning services to clients nation-wide. She frequently speaks and publishes on financial issues, and Worth magazine has chosen her multiple times as one of the nation's top financial advisors. She prefers advocating for and empowering those who have inherited significant assets and has developed TIES (The Inheritor's Empowerment System), a series of nine steps for inheritors who want to harness the potential of their wealth and realize their greatest life ambitions. Myra is the author of several books addressing planning from the inheritor's perspective, including The Inheritor's Sherpa, Living Richly, The Cabin, and now The Confident Inheritor: No Apologies Necessary.
