A graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary amongst other institutions, Hood recently concluded a Doctorate of Ministry in Queer Theology at Brite Divinity School. In 2013, PFLAG Fort Worth awarded Hood their Equality Award for Activism and Service.
