The Daft Apeth: Achieve Superhuman Results When You Dream, Act, Feel, and Think with Purpose (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798375771236)

When Desmond Morris introduced his 'Naked Ape' more than fifty years ago, the nakedness of his ape was designed to shock. A hundred years earlier, Charles Darwin was busy trying to convey his findings without such controversy, albeit concluding that 'man still bears in his bodily frame the indelible stamp of his lowly origin'. Times have changed but humans, not so much.

Our lowly origin and our nakedness are hidden much of the time, but strip back a layer or two and they are there for all to see. As our body evolves, the brain always plays catch up.

Which is why I am a DAFT APETH. And, my friend, it is why you are too. When we embrace this reality, we start to choose the actions that help us to make the most of our lives.

The DAFT APETH's journey has been a long one, but, as we live and breathe, it is not over yet...

As the accompanying book Some Other Substantial Reason confirms, we are DAFT.

We are also APETHS.

APETHS are Attention-seeking, Pattern-finding, Erroneous-reasoning, Temperamental, Hypersensitive Simians. APETHS are also biased. Biased in so many ways that it is hard to believe. Our beliefs, shaped by our environment make it so...

See what other people might be saying...

Some of the most eminent in their fields were made up to comment on this DAFT interpretation of the human journey. Whilst that is not actually true, their comments certainly were:

"This book is worth the investment - whether you are Thinking Fast or Slow!" - Danny Kahneman

"If you think my book on the subject of thinking is good, Think Again!" - Ad Grant

"With the right Mindset, this book could change your life!" - Cal Dweck

"Even with large doses of passion and resilience, Grit happens!" - Ange Duckworth

"My Naked Ape has shrugged off all un-needed hair... Read this before you lose any more of yours!" - Des Morris

Who should read this book? Are you alive and breathing in the 21st first century? Then this book is for you... It is surprisingly informative, and yet it remains lighter than your average human brain.
