The Daughters of Dael (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781763533417)

Fionnuala Alised has grown up on her father's ship the Silver Swan, trading goods in the Desmond Triangle every summer and sailing south every winter in search of the mystical Isle of Dreams.

But this voyage south is her last. Since the War of Six Thousand Seas, women have been outlawed from the sea, and Finn has turned sixteen. Dreading her future as a shipwright back in Great Beacon, Finn is determined to make the most of her last voyage, spending every moment in the rigging that she can, even against her brother Aegen's wishes.

Until she's swept overboard in a vicious ice storm and rescued by an all-female crew from the wrong side of the world. Suddenly, Finn isn't just fighting Aegen on how to set the sails but fighting to stay alive, all while understanding how she could have been so wrong about everything-the seas, the War, the world, and even about herself.
