As a parent, during this pandemic, I have been at a loss for words trying to make sense of our new reality while at the same time finding the words to explain or answer my child's questions. Therefore, with my background as a early childhood mental health professional and a mother of a young child this book was created to support other adults in facilitating a conversation with a child about the current pandemic. The hope of this book is that it creates a relatable space for a child to open up about how this pandemic is impacting them and a space for an adult to support them just by listening.
