LESLEY WELLS - THE MAGGIE JEFFREY LINK Maggie Jeffrey is my pen name. Although I now live in the beautiful city of Ely I was born in Dumfries in South West Scotland and lived there until 6 years ago. For many years I worked as a bank cashier for Clydesdale Bank and then as a legal secretary. The colour fairies have been floating about in my mind for a long time, but now that I am retired they have finally made their escape. I have two daughters and two grandsons. The name Maggie Jeffrey is a tribute to my late mother who came from the Jeffrey family. The first four books in the series, 'have been beautifully illustrated by Angela D Warren, Primrose, South Africa, and self-published on Amazon..
