Jerome Jardiniere believed himself to be the greatest songwriter in the world. It didn't matter to him what the facts were. Unfortunately, it was the end of the sixties when facts still mattered.

Those facts were: Jerome was lazy, inconsiderate, usually dirty and not very bright. He also had a box of guitar strings. Besides, nobody liked him much.
A big problem when he finds himself wanted by the police, the underworld, a motorcycle gang and...
a beautiful young woman with a penchant for stealing things--particularly from him.
Can anybody figure out what's really going on before Jerome ends up arrested, dead or both?
You'd think maybe his best friend, Blue. But then, Blue can't stand him either.
