The Decline and Fall of the U.S. Empire has already started. The Congress, the Supreme Court, and the people themselves, though inadvertently, are contributing to this decline and fall. The setting is centered around what is known as the Freedom Turf, an open ground at the center of a very popular and inspiring university called Harbard University. Freedom Turf has a small stage at one end where any student can speak on any topic, however controversial it may be, without any fear of being disturbed. These speeches are booked one month in advance with a student by the name of LingLing. This is a place where strange ideas, controversial ideas, new ideas, provocative ideas, scientific ideas, religious and anti-religious ideas, political, governmental and Constitutional criticisms all flourish with impunity and immunity. When strange or new or opposing ideas are presented, only those who want to listen, need to listen. Others walk away smiling. During these days the present climate of religious (Islamic) violence is the major topic being addressed on this Freedom Turf. There are many students who feel that Islam, with its mandate to kill those who do not belong to Islam and bring the world into submission to Allah, is a satanic force. Since the Qur'an repeatedly requires the Muslims to kill the unbelievers, many students feel that Islam is not a religion as envisaged by our Founding Fathers, and hence should not be classified as a religion.

Joseph Pappy was recruited by different governments on contract basis to work for them. The Malaysian government recruited the author for nine years to work in Malaysia. The Australian government recruited the author for a three year contract to teach at the University of Technology in Papua, New Guinea. Mr. Pappy was President of the Sabah Mathematics Teachers' Association. He served as the editor of the Sabah Mathematics Journal for three years. While at the University of Technology, Mr. Pappy published several articles in the University magazine on the topic Self--Paced--Individualized Instruction. He has writ-- ten a Mathematics book Algebra 1, in a particular style known as the Self--Paced--Individualized--Instruction. Mr. Pappy was also the Chief Editor of the K.E. College annual magazine. He has traveled to many countries in the East and Far East. Linda L. Russo is a Registered Professional Reporter who started her career as a free--lance court reporter, then went on to be an official court reporter in County Court, State Court, and then Federal Court in Washington, D.C. Ms. Russo has had advanced judicial training focusing in the criminal area, including fingerprint analysis, firearm law, SWAT Team, medical helicopter, and autopsies. Ms. Russo has worked on such cases as John Hinckley, Scooter Libby, David Safavian who was involved with Jack Abramoff, she has reported many Guantanamo Bay hearings, thousands of tri-- als, and has written the book Diary Of A Court Reporter, which is a true crimes novel based on her court hearings.
