The Default Is A Lie: A Wake-Up Call for the Overstimulated Soul (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798289200945)

In The Default Is a Lie, J.M. Faervel delivers a bold and urgent message: modern life is a carefully engineered illusion-and it's time to wake up.

This provocative and eye-opening book is a call to arms for every soul feeling numbed by the noise, overstimulated by distraction, and disconnected from meaning. With striking clarity and wit, Faervel dismantles the hidden systems shaping our minds, behaviors, and beliefs-exposing how convenience, media, fear, and unconscious habits keep us imprisoned in lives we didn't consciously choose.

Across its chapters, The Default Is a Lie journeys through neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, and metaphysics to help readers understand the mechanisms behind their reality. Faervel introduces the concept of "the illusion machine"-the societal programming that hijacks our attention and turns us into passive participants in our own existence. He reveals how time, emotion, and thought are weaponized by algorithms and institutions, keeping us stuck in loops of fear, consumption, and false fulfillment.

As readers delve deeper, they'll learn how the human mind operates through distinct layers-instinctive, emotional, and logical-and how these parts are manipulated daily by media, trauma, and repetition. With powerful insights into dopamine addiction, subconscious reprogramming, and vibrational states, Faervel equips readers with the tools to reclaim their sovereignty, rewire their thinking, and realign with purpose.

The Default Is a Lie also explores profound themes of emotional mastery, identity, and neuroplasticity, guiding readers to confront fear not as a weakness, but as a conditioned response ready to be reprogrammed. Through compelling metaphors like the "Green Bunny Experiment" and real-life reflections on time, distraction, and the digital age, the book serves as both a mirror and a map-a reminder of what it means to be fully human in an age of artificial living.

This is more than a book. It's a reality disruptor.

A soul reboot.

An invitation to unplug from the default and consciously design a life that's true.

For the seekers, rebels, overthinkers, and quiet revolutionaries-The Default Is a Lie is your permission to remember who you are and reclaim what's always been yours: your mind, your time, your truth.
