The Diary of a Mum on the Run: One Womans Journey to find Strength, Purpose & Herself (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781036960414)

12 Races. 12 Months. 12 Countries. One woman's unstoppable journey to reclaim her life.

After surviving seizures, brain surgery, fear, setbacks, and the chaos of midlife, Tracey Atkinson refused to let life shrink her. Instead, she laced up her trainers and set out on a year-long mission: 12 races in 12 months across 12 countries all in support of a charity close to her heart.

What followed was a whirlwind adventure across Europe and beyond, early mornings, airports, heatwaves, snow, injuries, PBs, podium finishes, glow-stick Rave Runs, and the rediscovery of a strength she never knew she had.

From the sun-soaked streets of Marrakesh to the festival energy of Berlin, Madrid's chaos, Luxembourg's night run, Cyprus's heat, and the iconic blue carpet of the Valencia Marathon, Tracey's story is one of relentless determination and the belief that consistency beats perfection.

Along the way, she battled: gruelling training blocks, travel fatigue, menopause symptoms, injuries, falls, antibiotics & illness, fear, self-doubt, and anxiety and the pressure of being a mum, a worker, a runner all at once

But each finish line brought her closer to confidence, clarity, purpose and a realisation that the limits she once believed in were never real.
