The Dublin Deception (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798232843557)

Shamus O'Donnell-O'D to the few who know him-has always lived between two identities. Born in London to Cork parents, he rose through the Metropolitan Police by keeping his head down, his mind sharp, and his loyalties unshakeable. Now a Chief Inspector, he has been reassigned to Special Branch and buried deep inside a world where names change, files lie, and silence is the only currency.

Waterford, Southern Ireland, is his new posting. A small hotel room is his home. A British solicitor's office-complete with clerks, receptionists, and lawyers who are all undercover Met officers-is his cover. For six months he has lived as Paddy Coil, a quiet, heavy built clerk with a talent for blending in and a mind that never stops working.

Yesterday, his orders were delivered without ceremony: Find the man behind the Belfast bombings. Stop the gun running across the border. Do it quietly. Do it fast.
