LINDA BAILEY has written almost forty books for children, including When Santa Was a Baby and Carson Crosses Canada. Most recently, she has indulged her love of dinosaurs with The Great Dinosaur Sleepover and Lena the Chicken (But Really a Dinosaur!). Her books have been translated into twenty-four languages and received awards that include the California Young Reader Medal, the Ontario Blue Spruce Award, the Georgia Children's Picturebook Award and the UK School Library Association Information Book Award.
