Elliot Washor co-founded Big Picture Learning and its flagship school, The Met Center, with Dennis Littky to show how the search for meaning and the power of mattering in public schools can transform the lives of students, their families, and their communities. An educator for over 50 years, he was selected as one of the "Twelve Most Daring Educators in the World" by the George Lucas Educational Foundation.
