Richard A. Jama committed his life to Jesus in 1978 at age 16 in Jos, Nigeria. After being filled with the Holy Spirit in December 1982, God began to use him to minister in colleges and institutions of higher learning, and later on in his local church. He worked in the Bank for about 9 years from 1986, during which time he was also involved in the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International before leaving for full-time ministry to the UK in 1995 with the Elim Pentecostal Church Inc. UK. In 2009 he began what God had laid in his heart back in 1998 - holding some seminars to inspire church workers for effective service in their local churches in order to relieve their Pastor. These seminars (Church Workers Seminars International) which began in Abuja, Nigeria, have so far taken him to seven states as well as a couple of other ministries in London. Richard Jama continues to serve as the Senior Pastor of New Life Bible Church, London, a branch of the Elim Pentecostal Church Inc. UK. In the Elim ministry in UK, he has also been privileged to serve on a couple of national teams known as "The Bridge" and "Refuel". His ministry lays emphasis on The ministry of The Word, Worship and Prayers. Richard is married to Toyin, and blessed with two girls - Victoria and Sarah.
