The Election Scorebook's author has a background of service and continuing education. As a High School student JoAnne was chosen to attend Girls State where she learned about creating party platforms and working to get a candidate elected. As a young adult, JoAnne entered the United States military where she served in both the Army and the Air Force. JoAnne's college history is spread from her High School days to the current day. JoAnne is the mother of 6 children. She has served for over 40 years in several volunteer church organizations, as well as volunteer organizations for schools, and communities. JoAnne started putting The Election Scorebook together when she became frustrated at the voting pole booth several years ago. She hopes that it will be helpful to others.
