We must start preparing ourselves for Christ return and we can do that by trusting in God's Grace and his promises. In this world sometimes causes us pain and suffering. But our Lord and savior offer us hope and comfort. The Lord will always keep his promise, even when we are going through. We don't know when the rapture will occur, but we should be prepared to receive him daily. When you read about the prophecy take heed, Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
