Raymond J. Bishop, S.J. (January 15, 1906 - February 1978) was a Roman Catholic priest. One of the several priests involved in the case of exorcizing a boy in St. Louis, Missouri, who was said to be possessed after using a Ouija board. The case inspired author William Peter Blatty to write a novel about exorcism, titled "The Exorcist" and then a movie based on a diary of these events. In 1949, Father Bishop assembled these accounts in form of a diary from 14 priests that were eye witnesses to the exorcism which is presented here in this book.
