WHY 2,977 PEOPLE DIED ON 9/11 On August 4, 1999, the FBI closed FBI Agent Wright's highly successful Act of Terrorism [AOT] criminal case, codenamed Vulgar Betrayal [VB]. VB was the FBI's largest ever AOT criminal case prior to 9/11. VB conducted the first ever civil seizure of Middle Eastern terrorist assets totaling $1.4 million. The closing of VB meant that many people are going to die in the future. The FBI management wanted the $1.4 million returned to the Middle Eastern terrorists. Muhammad Salah, Hamas Military Commander and Yassin Kadi, a Chief Financier of Osama bin Laden. The $1.4 million was to be returned to Salah and Kadi during the first week of October 2001. On August 7, 1999, Wright began writing Vulgar Betrayal, Volumes 1 and 2 [VB1]. VB1 was written to inform Congress that the FBI was incapable of preventing any Middle Eastern terrorist attacks. On August 10, 1999, Wright hired Chicago Attorney Dave Schippers. Wright knew the FBI had fired or forced out all past FBI Whistleblowers. Therefore, Wright knew the FBI would retaliate and try to fire him in the future because of the contents of VB1. In mid-July 2001, after reading VB1, Mr. Schippers realized he needed the assistant of another law firm to help protect Wright from the FBI. On August 1, 2001, Wright signed a contract with Judicial Watch, based in Washington, D.C., to be Mr. Schippers' co-council. Wright completed VB1 five-hours and sixteen-minutes before the 9/11 attack began. On 9/11, Mr. Schippers said that VB1, "is the smoking gun that shows the FBI's failures leading up to the September 11th attacks." Larry Klayman, Chairman, and General Counsel of Judicial Watch, said that VB1 is the "smoking gun that could undo the FBI's jurisdiction over terrorism in the United States." Schippers told Wright that he needed to begin writing a second book, VB2, Volumes 3 and 4. Schippers asked Wright to document in real time, everything the FBI was going to do to silence him. The FBI will do whatever it takes to protect its image, job security, and continued funding from Congress. Even after 2,977 people lost their lives in one day, because of the FBI's dereliction of duty to protect them. On October 1, 2001, Wright submitted VB1 to the FBI for the required FBI pre-publication review. On January 2, 2002, the FBI approved 82% of VB1 for publication. Wright sent twenty-five pages of VB1 to Judy Miller, New York Times. Miller wanted to publish news articles. The FBI called and invited Miller to FBI headquarters. Miller interviewed four FBI Supervisors about Wright. During the meeting, the FBI lied to Miller, which caused her not to publish her articles. On May 10, 2002, the FBI revoked the approval of Wright's VB1 book. Wright's attorneys filed a 1st Amendment lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation. On May 30, 2002, Wright attended a national news conference to warn Congress about VB1. Held at the Washington Press Club on May 30, 2002, and covered live by C-SPAN. In June 2002, four US Senators requested, in writing, that FBI Director Mueller forward a copy of VB1 to each of them. The FBI refused, falsely claiming VB1 contained classified material. The FBI retaliated against Wright each time he tried to inform Congress and the American people about the FBI's negligence prior to 9/11. FBI management opened five internal affairs investigations against Wright. The FBI initiated three media smear campaigns against him. Attempted to fire him three times.
