The Feast of Enemies contains twelve reflections or meditations intended for the time prior to the celebration of Holy Communion within the worship service. Kenneth L. Gibble, an ordained clergyman in the Church of the Brethren, received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Bethany Theological Seminary, Oak Brook, Illinois. For fourteen years he served as pastor of Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The author of four books in addition to the present volume, he has contributed articles to over fifty religious periodicals across a wide denominational spectrum. He and his wife Ann and daughter Katie continue to live in Harrisburg, where he is presently a freelance writer and a consultant for parish ministries.
