Why should anyone leave one of the most fulfilling and lucrative careers and walk in faith along uncharted and unfamiliar paths? I truly don't know. However, I can say with confidence that this new twist of faith has opened my eyes to a world I never saw before. I now hear voices with ears that span across the oceans and feel the heartbeats of those I don't know. The story, "The Forgotten Heroes," reminds me of one of my favorite stories, "If You Know Me, You May Save Me" that was written in my first published book, "My Inner Thoughts." It was written many years ago and left there to collect dust. But somehow it was resurrected and became the main theme for this book. "The Forgotten Heroes" explains the difficult times our fore-parents endured to create the foundation of the society we freely enjoy today. It is a reflection of their unconditional love for each other, their faith and trust in their Creator, their dependence on each other and their overwhelming attachment to nature.
