The Forgotten Patient: A Cosmic Horror Thriller of Identity, Isolation, and the Last Human Mind (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798270971922)

Thirty-one years. No aging. No change. No escape.

On the desolate Titan Orbital Station, orbiting Saturn's cold moon, a figure known only as the Patient has been confined to a medical bed for decades-unmoving, unaging, and utterly silent.

Commander Briggs clings to protocol, Chief Medical Officer Evelyn Cross to reason, and engineer Riley to faith. But the Patient's gaze begins to infect their thoughts, twisting belief into obsession and duty into madness.

As systems fail and the walls pulse like living tissue, the crew fractures into zealots and skeptics, each convinced they alone serve the truth. But the truth is far worse.

The Patient isn't what he seems. Neither are they.

When the illusion shatters, Evelyn discovers the nightmare beneath reality: the crew are fragments of a parasitic entity, mimicking human life to sustain itself. The Patient is the last true human-an ageless witness trapped in an endless loop of the parasite's rebirth.

As the station collapses and the cycle resets, new "crew" awaken, their borrowed humanity forming anew. The Patient remains-eternal, silent, watching.

The Forgotten Patient is a cosmic-horror science fiction thriller that merges existential terror with psychological decay, echoing the works of Jeff VanderMeer, H.P. Lovecraft, and Alex Garland.
A haunting meditation on identity, memory, and what it means to be truly human when everything around you is a lie.
