xRichard Skorupski grew up Central New Jersey. Almost equally distant from New York and Philadelphia, some would consider Toms River a small town. He left home for a career in the Navy and stayed away for twenty one years before retiring in 1993. He returned from the Navy to buy the house where he grew up. Ten years later he moved to South Dakota and retired again. Using money from his Navy pension, and his writing, he lives on a hobby farm with his wife Cheryl and enjoys the peace and quiet that comes with a country setting. His love for rural America started him writing. To date, he has written three novels.
