Dr. Walter J. Urban has been helping patients since 1954 with his varied health care experience. He has worked as a consultant in the health insurance industry where he learned that in medicine, money comes first. He acknowledges that there are a few exceptions of doctors who are sincere in their practice. However, having personally suffered from a lack of proper diagnosis resulting in chronic pain, it is his ultimate goal to help others by telling the truth about health: that it is our responsibility. Dr. Urban has a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and eight years of psychoanalytic training. He has also completed formal studies as a family therapist and as a mental health consultant. At 87 years of age, he continues studying on his own every day. Dr. Urban is registered with the Medical Board of California as a Research Psychoanalyst, Registration No. 7.
