After turning sixteen his devotion to church began, and through the years he held the positions of treasurer, Sunday school teacher, deacon, associate pastor, and evangelist. He moved to Western North Carolina in 1985 and met his future wife while working out at a local gym. Married for just more than thirty-two years, he has three daughters, one granddaughter, and one son-in-law. He has worked in manufacturing all his career and has an associate's degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor's degree in business administration. This is his first book.
